Bethany Family Pet Clinic is seeking an experienced individual to join our enthusiastic and energetic health care team as a full-time Veterinary Receptionist. We have a state of the art, eight doctor veterinary practice providing professional, honest and caring support to all our valued clients. We provide wellness, healing, comfort and always practice the best quality medicine so that our patients may live longer, healthier lives. A successful candidate will have compassion for both people and animals, the ability to defuse negative situations and strive to promote a polished image of our hospital in this pivotal, client facing role. Our team provides exceptional client service and any new employee must continue this excellence.

The position:

- Opening and closing the clinic

- Triaging clients, scheduling appointments and managing the reception area

- Receiving and handling high-volume telephone calls

- Checking in and invoicing out clients

- Reviewing medical records and data input

- Exam room set up and clean up

- Processing food orders and maintaining the retail area

The requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

- At least one year of customer service experience

- The ability to work weekends and holidays

- Ability to comfortably lift 40lbs

- Have strong typing skills and a polished telephone etiquette

- Previous veterinary receptionist experience is preferred

- Experience with AVImark a big plus!

The compensation:
- A competitive hourly wage that depends on your experience
