Our privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Coram, NY is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to support our medical team.

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
• Safely handle and restrain patients
• Prepare exam rooms and support patient flow
• Assist with laboratory sample collection and diagnostics (as trained)
• Support surgical and treatment areas
• Monitor hospitalized patients
• Maintain accurate medical records support tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and medical sanitation standards

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible scheduling options
• Rotating weekends and some holidays required
• Full-time or part-time options available
