Description

iVET360 is looking to build a pool of candidates who would be interested in interviewing when we are ready to hire our next Veterinary Management Consultant. We are not currently hiring, however, we would love to hear from you if you would be interested in us contacting you with more information about what we will be looking for and putting you on our contact list. Here is information about the position we would like to build this pool for:

Who we are:
We are iVET360 (ivet360.com), a boutique management services company dedicated to partnering with private practice veterinary hospitals across the country. We started iVET360 to improve upon current industry standards for closing the implementation gap in the private veterinary practice community. The unique iVET360 model challenges the traditional model of management services. In short, we match clients with specialists who are experts when it comes to HR, training, marketing, and financial analytics. iVET360 is a data-driven company, and we have developed our own set of intuitive tools to deliver quality services. In less than five years, we built a client list of over 400 high-performing hospitals covering 47 states. Our goal: to increase companion pet care by building healthy hospital operations.

The Opportunity
We are looking to add an HR and Training Manager to our consulting team. This client-facing consulting position will work with up to 50 of our hospitals across the US to assist them in meeting the challenges that come with staff management and training, HR, client service, and practice leadership. You will work side by side with a team of analytics and marketing specialists, creating a management services team that can genuinely elevate a veterinary practice. As a result, all team members must be truly collaborative people, willing to lean on those around them for assistance and guidance, and ready to offer their own experience and problem-solving skills to help the team. "Lone wolves" and those who refuse to ask for help will not be successful in this role.

This is a "remote consulting" position, meaning we work in our home offices and consult via phone, email, and video conferencing. Therefore, you'll need to have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to empathize and troubleshoot hospital issues in a respectful, collaborative manner. When the pandemic has abated, team members will be asked to travel to Portland, Oregon quarterly for onsite meetings. There will be some travel required for occasional on-site visits with the practices when it is safe to do so.

Who you are:

  • Experienced – You have extensive knowledge of successful practice leadership techniques
  • Confident – You can effortlessly navigate through stressful hospital and staff situations
  • Refined – You are an exceptional communicator and can thoroughly explain the details
  • Humble – You lead by example, not by title, and certainly not afraid to laugh out loud
  • Agile – You can easily switch gears at the drop of a hat without frustration
  • Accountable – You take great pride in your work and understand the importance of deadlines

What You'll Do

Utilizing your knowledge and experience, paired with iVET360's best practices, you'll guide your client hospitals through both common and uncommon HR and training issues they face in their hospitals. Some of these concerns will be very complex and will require patience and tact. As you know, change in a hospital can be difficult in the best of times, and these days it is more demanding than ever to work in a veterinary practice. You'll work with exceptional empathy and kindness, developing relationships that will encourage the implementation of your recommendations. To define it best, you'll become a partner in each of your hospital's successes.

You will also work to help the HR and Training department and iVET360 team continually update and improve our best practices and recommendations based on current and upcoming trends. All team members contribute to building our tools, which creates a diverse and comprehensive approach to hospital issues. Be prepared to bring your ideas and suggestions to the table every day.

What it takes:

  • Experience in the VETERINARY field
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
