Location

Meadowlawn Animal Services is proud to serve the pets and families of Conway, Myrtle Beach, and Loris, South Carolina. Located within 30 minutes of each other, we are able to offer our staff an option of working at the job of their dreams while living in their ideal location. Whether you are wanting to live in an active city, have easy access to the beach, or in a quiet rural area, here at Meadowlawn you are able to settle down in the environment you are seeking!

Practice Overview

Meadowlawn Animal Services provides three progressive medical clinics that offer personalized and passionate care across a wide case load. Our motto is, “We are more than a vet, because they are more than a pet.” We live out this motto by providing the best in preventative care. From routine wellness visits, vaccinations, nutrition counseling, and parasite prevention to being available when our patients need us for injuries or illness as they age. Our veterinarians stay current on the latest in veterinary advancements and technology, and our clinics maintain a full in-house IDEXX lab, digital standard and dental radiographs, and laser therapy. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help our patients and each other!

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
  • Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of South Carolina
  • Three years of experience preferred, open to new grads
  • Surgical and dental experience preferred
  • Experience working in an emergency setting preferred
  • Experience working small animal cases and surgery required
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
