Bell Veterinary Hospital is a busy, single-doctor practice in Haleyville, AL. As we have grown, we have a rare opening for a receptionist / veterinary assistant. We foster a team atmosphere; everyone chips in and helps in all parts of the hospital. We are looking for someone who excels at customer service and is also able to assist our veterinarian with medical tasks and patient care.  We offer competitive wages, health insurance, and a great work environment where you can develop your love of animals into a great career.

The successful candidate will:

• Have at least 1-year experience in a customer service position
• Be comfortable around pets (preferred candidate will have at least 6 months experience working with animals)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to multi-task, prioritize and take initiative
• Be curious and have a desire to learn and grow in this profession
• Be extremely reliable and have a “team-first” mentality
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
